For the past 5 years I had been dreaming of getting back into a house of my own. Through inquiries I ended up with a referral to Dean Birks.
I had been avoiding taking the plunge in actually contacting a Realator as I was unsure of myself and knowledge I had in pursuing and purchasing a home. I took a deep breath and contacted Dean. I have to say it was the best thing I did toward getting my own home back into my life! He took charge by talking with me in debt about what I was looking for in a home as well as preferred locations. He put that all together and set me up on his website link to properties that meet my criteria. It only took a few weeks and I had viewed the property I wanted! Dean explained and walked me through all that needed to be done and BANG, accepted offer.
It didn't end there. Dean kept with me by giving me referrals/options to home inspectors and lawyers. It all went so smoothly that from the time I contacted Dean until my possesion date was less than 2 months! I was thrilled!
Oh, no... It still did not end there. After we were moved and settled in Dean had contacted me by phone to check in to ask if we were doing ok and if we needed anything to feel free to contact him. Awesome job Dean and all those extras you threw in were very appreciated.

When it was time to sell our home I interviewed several agents before I decided on Dean. He was so well organized, and efficient but mostly he belived in the house and what we could sell it for, and he was the agent that came in with the highest price. Within days he had a realtor tour through the house and an open house booked. We never did get to the open house as it was sold in about 10 days. Our sale had some tense moments but Dean kept the deal together and made it happen. The other thing I liked was when ever I had a question, I could always reach him, and he would get right back to me with a quick response.

I would say Dean Birks is one of the best agents in Prince George, just recently I refered some friends to him and he listed and sold there house in 3 days at a good price. Our story started in the lower mainland of BC and we wanted to sell our home there and move to Prince George. We decided to interview several real estate companies and also different agents. We interviewed the discount and the higher end companies.
When we interviewed the Royal LePage Agent down there, we were impressed with her presentation, her diligence, and with the methods. She had our home sold with in a month and for the amount we had asked for. Our home we were told was in show room condition, and she provided a stager to help create this environment. We followed all the recommendations and it paid off.
When we relocated to Prince George we again chose a Royal LePage Agent and again we were not disappointed.
We picked Dean Birks as our representative. I put him through a lot, because originally I was considering property with a renovation to keep the price down and develop the property the way we wanted it to look. But later decided against that.
To our surprise Dean found a home in a great neighborhood with all the newly renovated features and landscape development we were looking for, and we purchased the home for under the appraised price. The location of the home and property was exactly what we were aiming for. The transition was smooth.
